Our Golden Turmeric Salve is made with an infusion of cold pressed Avocado Oil, organic turmeric root, ginger root, and Lavender Essential oil. This salve is perfect to use for joint pain, arthritis, swelling, bruising, strains, and sprains.
Both turmeric and ginger contain curcumin, which is a lovely bioactive compound that helps give them their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. We added Lavender essential oil to help not only soothe the skin but it also has mild anti-inflammatory properties and is very calming.
Due to the high content of turmeric, this salve will give your skin a golden yellow glow, but once rubbed in, it will fade. Please use caution however around clothing and other fabrics as turmeric is a known to stain fabric!
Ingredients: Organic avocado oil infused with Organic Turmeric and Organic Ginger, Organic Beeswax, Lavender Essential Oil, Vitamin E Oil.
To Use: Apply a pea sized amount onto the area of concern and rub in well. This salve will turn your skin a lovely yellow color, however it will fade once it is rubbed in well. Wash hands afterwards. This product is not meant to be used on small children or pets. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Those taking blood thinning medication should speak to a healthcare professional before using. Do not use if pregnant or nursing.
