Keep candle free from any foreign materials including matches, crystals, herbs, and trimmings. If herbs get too close to wick, scoop them out. Only burn candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn candle more than 4hrs at a time. Stop use when only 1/4 inch of wax remains.
